Great Night at Arena League

What a  Fantastic night we had on Saturday!! After weeks of planning and organizing we only had a few minor glitches on what was a fabulous night for Putteridge Swimming club. Debbie, Dean, Andy, Graeme, Emma N-B, Susan and Jo, our technical Team in the Timing Suite, poolside, Lesley, Carol, Lewis, Gavin, James and all the parents you were all phenomenal!

Our Swimmers, what a job they did!!! Not only were they professional they were a real team. We had relay swimmers swimming strokes they don’t necessarily like, swimmers doing individual events they don’t normally swim and Masters swimmer Miriam also drafted in.

Lawrence and Lesley were so proud of all our swimmers. Looking technically good, strong and all the skill work we have been working on was evident and this transferred into actual swimming times. The stats are unreal, especially so early in the season.

PSC swimmers achieved 25 PBs in 34 individual events.

Congratulations Ellie 200IM, JJ 100 Breast, Connor 100 Back, Brandon 100 Free and Lucy her first Regional time …… 50 Breast. Brandon’s 100 Free also broke the County Record. There a number who are so close to those ERQ times already!! (this does not include those who have already qualified for Regionals at other events).

To all our Relay Team swimmers, you all contributed hugely to our Success on the night!

Thanks to all who came down to support us even though you weren’t swimming the mass or orange in the gallery and the roars and cheering surely helped those competing and we hope their performances have inspired you all.

Second on the night with very stiff opposition.

Very proud Coach and Coaches, without whom this wouldn’t have been possible. A Coaching Team second to none and all coaching from the same hymn sheet.

We are now bearing the fruit of all your hard work!!!

Looking forward to Round Two!!!
