Lawrence is a qualified ASA Level 2 Coach.’I have been swimming and training competitively for over 10 years and I now feel its time to pass on my experiences and knowledge on to help develop younger swimmers who are just starting out. I have swum at the highest level and seen how the countries top swimmers train, perform and handle themselves at that elite level. I hope to pass all that I have learnt to give our swimmers a head start. I am very technically minded and feel that this is the major part of competitive swimming that is neglected, and I aim for perfection as I believe this is what makes swimmers faster the older they get. I am a big believer over quality not quantity. Alongside my studies of Sports Science at University, I understand the body and how to manipulate its system to produce the best in a swimmer at the right time. As a swimmer being coached I am fully aware of effort levels within training that are involved and this is what I strive to get out of my swimmers.’’
