The Aylesbury Gala saw a very strong turnout from many A&B grade swimming clubs take part in this Trophy gala.  Putteridge swimmers achieved 16 PB's and when all the races had completed Putteridge finished on 165 points. 

This years Biathlon saw over 60 participants from Stopsley Striders running club and Putteridge Piranhas swimming club take part in this annual challenge.

The Bedfordshire ASA has announced a County development swimming gala on Saturday 19th September 2009 for all swimmers looking to achieve a 200m entry time for next years County Championships.

Swimmers looking to take part need to express their interest with the coaches by June 23rd.  More details can be found in the members download section of the website.

Round one of the Milton Keynes Junior League took place on Saturday 6th June at the Aqua Vale Centre in Aylesbury.  Putteridge Piranhas finished in 4th place overall with 11 PB's achieved.

Witney came 1st with 253 points, Aylesbury 2nd with 223 points, 3rd Bicester with 162 points, Putteridge 4th with 124 points, Thame 5th with 120 points and Newport Pagnell 6th with 112 points.

Putteridge swimmers achieved a well deserved second place at the 3rd round of the Chiltern League.  24 PB's were achieved.  The gala at Dunstable Leisure Centre saw the host club take top place with 170 points, Putteridge came second with 156 points, Chesham third with 153 points, Bushey fouth with 125 points and finally fifth were Houghton Regis with 107 points.
