********** Stanborough Lakes Team Building Event **********

For all Piranhas confirmed as attending our Team Building event at Stanborough Watersports Park on Sunday 5th, you will need to be at the venue by no later than 1:15 p.m. meet by the Cafe and Watersports Reception.

The Venue address is:- Stanborough Watersports, Stanborough Road, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. AL8 6DG

For any parents coming along to watch, there is a cafe area and the park is open to wander around. The car park at the venue is pay and display.

Piranhas will need to bring along with them the following items:-

Wear sensible clothing for the dry activities (not jeans), footwear (not slip ons or wellies). A windproof outer layer or fleece jacket may be advisable subject to the weather conditions and a towel. It may also be sensible to have a change of clothes for the journey home.

Wetsuits and buoyancy aids will be provided by the centre for any immersion activities but you must have your own footwear or trainers (not slip ons or wellies) that you are happy to get wet and muddy as bare feet will not be allowed.

If we are lucky with the weather, it may be advisable to bring along suncream/sunblock and a hat.

There are toilets and showers at the venue aswell as racks for clothing to be left on whilst undertaking the activities, however any valuables should be left at home as the centre cannot and will not take any responsibilty for items left behind or lost.

If any one taking part in the event has any cuts or wounds, these MUST be covered before going out on the lake.

If you are currently undergoing any medical treatment or have any conditions that the Club are not aware of, it is your responsibility to inform the instructors on arrival.

The cost of this subsidised event is £10.00 per person, please hand your payment to Richard on arrival at the venue, Cheque or cash.

The event is scheduled to finish at 4:30 p.m.

All of this information is on flyers that will be handed out during Saturdays training sessions (now that most people are back from their hols) if you have not already been given one.
