PUTTERIDGE PIRANHAS RECRUITMENT POLICY

Criteria for recruitment Usually personnel will be recruited from Parents, Grandparents or former Swimmers of the club. However it is accepted that there may be exceptions to this. External Character references may be sort along with verification of claimed qualifications. All volunteers are subject to an A.S.A. C.R.B. clearance.  Recruitment requirements may assessed against the Club’s ongoing skills and resource analysis report to enable best utilisation of volunteers. An interview with the Club Chairperson / Welfare person may be carried out to determine suitability.

Welfare Procedure Those people requiring an A.S.A. C.R.B. check need to contact the Club Welfare Officer directly. The Club Welfare Officer will supply the necessary paperwork. All supporting documents and paperwork must be returned only to the Club Welfare Officer, who will process them. This is to ensure confidentiality. In the long term absence of a designated Club Welfare Officer, advise may be sort from the A.S.A Safeguarding Unit.
